Hunter spray nozzles thread onto any male-threaded spray sprinkler riser. Hunter spray sprinkler bodies come preinstalled with a directional flush plug to flush debris out of the line after installation or service.
For spray nozzle installation on a new spray sprinkler body:
- Pull up and turn the riser to point the flush plug opening at the landscape area.
- Flush the line by running the irrigation system.
- Pull up the riser again and unthread the flush plug by turning it counterclockwise.
- Install the nozzle by turning it clockwise on the riser until tight.
- Turn, or ratchet, the riser in either direction to adjust the direction of the nozzle toward the landscape.
Hunter adjustable spray nozzles, have a right-side stop and an adjustable left edge. Align the right stop with the landscape area and turn the top of the nozzle to adjust the left edge.
