Hunter Industries and FX Luminaire are ready to share innovation and inspiration at the ASLA 2024 EXPO. So what’s in store?

The event kicks off Saturday, October 5, with the Sketch Washington, D.C., Student Walkabout. This long-standing, Hunter-supported event brings together students and professors from around the nation to explore the spaces of the nation’s capital as a landscape architect does best: through a sketchbook. This free event allows participants to choose from five exploration routes and pairs professionals with students to hone their sketching skills.

A sketchbook will be provided, but be sure to bring your own pens, pencils, and watercolors. After the sketch walk, join the fun at the after-party at the Sketch Thrown Social where participants share their day’s work, converse with peers, and share beverages and delicious bites.

The event is limited to the first 200 registrants, so sign up soon!

When the EXPO opens Monday, October 7, come mingle with current students and professors, emerging professionals, and practicing alumni at the LABash Block Party. Bring your school spirit and decorate one of the tables in the party area in honor of your current university or alma mater for a chance to win the Best Tabletop Contest! Afterward, finalists are invited to gather at the Hunter / FX Luminaire booth where the 2024 contest winners will be announced.

While at the booth, participate in our Collegiate Landscape Architecture Donation Program. Vote for a college of your choice, and we’ll pledge a portion of our $10,000 donation to that schools’ landscape architecture program.

If you engage with any of our representatives at the booth to hear more about Hunter / FX Luminaire solutions, see what’s new, or learn about our sustainability initiatives, we’ll double the pledge to your college of choice. Since 2019, we’ve donated over $50,000 and look forward to continuing our support of emerging landscape architects.

The ASLA 2024 EXPO is set to be an event worth remembering. Join us for the fun, activities, and camaraderie as we celebrate landscape architects.
