Spray Bodies

Hunter offers three primary spray bodies: the Pro-Spray, the PRS30, and the PRS40. The Pro-Spray is our standard spray body, and is compatible with all Hunter nozzles. The Pro-Spray PRS30 looks similar to the Pro-Spray, but includes a built-in 30 PSI pressure regulator that ensures optimal water pressure with standard nozzles. The Pro-Spray PRS40 pairs the Pro-Spray body with a 40 PSI pressure regulator, and is designed to be paired with the MP Rotator nozzles.

MP ROTATOR

For optimal water efficiency, Hunter offers the revolutionary MP Rotator—a long-awaited alternative to traditional spray nozzles. The MP Rotator emits several rotating streams of water at a low application rate, this uses less water and ensures the landscape receives only the amount of water it needs to thrive. MP Rotators are proven to decrease water use by 30% over traditional spray nozzles.

Valves

Valves are the heart of an irrigation system. They open and close to allow water distribution from the irrigation system's pipes to the individual emitting components. Hunter's residential valves suit a wide range of performance demands, and have built a strong reputation as the most reliable valve in the industry.

Hunter's residential micro irrigation product line includes some of the most efficient dripline, bubbler, and root zone watering products available.

Residential Controllers

Controllers are the brains of a sprinkler system. They activate and deactivate designated irrigation zones according to programmed run times. Properly programed controllers ensure a landscape is receiving the right amount of water at the optimal watering time. Choosing the right controller typically depends on the number of zones needed in a system, and whether or not those zones will be added to or reduced in the future.

Sensors

Weather sensors connect to irrigation controllers, and are designed to make irrigation systems react to local weather conditions. Simple rain sensors, such as the Rain-Clik, prevent watering from occurring during rain events. More advanced sensors, like Hunter's Solar Sync, gather daily local weather data and work with your controller to calculate the optimum watering schedule based upon the current weather conditions.
