Using the SRP Programmer to Program a Controller
Once youve downloaded a schedule or schedules from the computer into the SRC Programmer, you can use the programmer in the field to program Hunter SRC, Pro-C or ICC controllers.
- Install the Hunter SmartPort® connector (included in this kit) on the controller. Installation instructions for the harness are on an index card contained in this kit. If your current controller does not have a SmartPort connector, refer to the drawing included with the installation kit.
- Plug the SRP Programmer into the harness. The LED on the Transport should be illuminated and green.
- Now select which data bank to program the controller with. Press the button on the SRP labeled either 1 or 2 to program the controller with the schedule in that data bank.
Once you press either button 1 or 2, the green LED will change to red, telling you that programming is underway. After the programming is complete, the LED changes back to green, and the word Done displays at the controller. You can then unplug the SRP Controller from the harness. The controller is ready to use.
NOTE: The SRP does not keep track of time, so remember to enter the correct time of day after uploading. See the SRC, Pro-C or ICC Setup All section above for information on skipping the time/date field.
