No Shutoff, No Reset...
Add Modules to the Pro-C While it's in Operation!
You thought it was easy before. Now it’s easier than ever to add modules to the Hunter Pro-C controller.
That’s because it is no longer necessary to “power down” or reset the controller when the time comes to add a module. Simply add an additional module while the controller is in operation…there’s no danger of harming the controller (no loss of information, no damage to the equipment) and no danger of harming yourself (no electrical hazards).
It’s all because of the principle of full redundancy that’s so prevalent throughout the computer world (and, after all, the Pro-C is essentially a little computer). This capability has allowed the switching out and/or addition of hard drives “on the fly” while the unit is in regular operation without turning the system off. All Pro-C units with a date code of January 2004 or later include this new feature.
If you find that the needs of your landscape have grown beyond the current configuration of your Pro-C, simply add another 3-station module – or use the new 9-station module that can help maximize your Pro-C’s capacity to a total of 15 stations!
And don’t worry about having to shut off the power or reprogram the unit when you’re done.
