ACC Communications Modules Make it Easy to Step Up to Central Control
Its modular design also makes it easy to upgrade to true 2-way communications with a Hunter central control system. Simply add an ACC communication module to the controller and the ACC can operate with Hunter’s affordable water management system, IMMS™ 2.0. An ACC communications module can be installed in the field as a standalone controller. Four different communications options are available and can even be combined with each other. Hardwire provides simple low cost central control for self-contained sites, when the central PC is on the same site as the controllers (if you plan on hardwire, it’s best to put the wire in on initial installation). Modem offers affordable wide area communications using dial-up modems for 1 to 100 site interfaces (for modem, you need to be able to have a phone line available). Cellular/GSM use modems for long range, wireless communication to remote sites. UHF Radio works with narrowband broadcast signals around individual sites for local communication needs (for radio you need to have a site survey completed). |
