Hunter Adds New Single-Station Model of Battery-Operated Wireless Valve SystemHunter’s battery-powered controllers can be counted upon for their performance and reliability in the absence of a traditional electric power source. Anyone who maintains a landscape can quickly and effortlessly install one of these ruggedly built, easy-to-understand products with a battery life that’s guaranteed. Now, Hunter’s Wireless Valve System is available in an additional size. The new single-station model WVC-100 joins the two-station WVC-200 and four-station WVC-400 in Hunter’s battery-powered controller line-up.
There’s no need to reach inside the valve box in order to hook up a field transmitter and download program instructions; the programmer can communicate with the controller inside a valve box from as far as 100 feet away. Couple this with the wide range of user-friendly operating features and there’s no battery-powered controller on the market easier to program. The Wireless Valve System’s control unit is also fully submersible and waterproof up to 12 feet, making it rugged enough to take on whatever water, mud, and debris might be found in a valve box environment. And, with all installed components hidden away safely underground and out of view, the control unit can also claim to be truly vandal-resistant. The Wireless Valve System is also weather sensor compatible. Quickly and easily, you can add on a Hunter Mini-Clik®, Rain-Clik™, and/or Freeze-Clik® sensor, making it possible for your irrigation system to automatically shut off in times of inclement weather, ensuring that watering doesn’t take place when it isn’t needed. For isolated sites, power-restricted areas, and the special needs of drip zones, the battery-operated Wireless Valve System is your solution. Visit your authorized Hunter distributor and add one to your next site that lacks electrical power. |
