Improved Seal Design Enhances Pro-Spray®, Institutional SprayHunter’s two popular spray heads are improving to give you even better performance. The Pro-Spray® and Institutional Spray are phasing in a new co-molded wiper seal. Co-molding is a process where two parts are molded together in such a way that a bond is created between them. This bonding gives the softer part more structure as it is bonded into the stiffer part. In the case of the spray heads’ wiper seal, the seal support and the seal are molded together to ensure a consistent size. The added stability and durability insures optimal seal performance and improved wear over many years of field use. The seal and cap on both sprinkler models are still separate parts, allowing easy access to the internal parts. That makes for cost effective maintenance—when the seal is worn, you only need to change out the seal (with the competition it is necessary to change the entire cap). The co-molded seal is now being used in the current production of Pro-Spray and Institutional Spray heads. Stop by your authorized Hunter distributor and check out the new co-molded seal on these spray heads and pick some up for your next job today! |
